How long do the extensions last?
8 to 10 weeks varying on the clients hair growth. This is recommended to eliminate matting, frizzing and tangling, and ensures the extension is always fresh and close to the scalp.
They can be reapplied up to 3 times, this is recommended so that the extension bond remains seamless.
Where does the hair come from?
Our hair is 100% cuticle on remy human hair usually from India. The extension itself is hand made in china with products from Asia, Europe and the US.
Is it Human Hair?
Our regular extensions are 100% remy human hair, meaning the cuticle is in tact and the hair is placed with the cuticle all facing the same direction. Benefits to this are no matting, tangling or short hair returns.
Our fantasy color hair is a blend of high temperature synthetic and human hair.
Bright colors typically have drastic fading within one to two shampoos and this blend allows the colors to remain vibrant. This product can be ironed and blown out just like regular human hair products.
Can you color it?
There are 20 colors that can be blended to create up to 400 different shades. If you are not able to blend to create you desired shade you can deposit color. You can not lighten. In the process of applying color keep all color away from the adhesive tab and wait about 48 hours from the time you apply them. DO NOT LIGHTEN THE EXTENSIONS OR HAIRWEAR. To create a more platinum blonde you can apply a toner to the 613 or 25.
Do not try to darken the color more than 2 or 3 levels. It is recommended that you color the extensions after application.
Can you iron, curl or blow dry the hair?
All of the above heat processes are okay. It is not advised that client should sit under a dryer while wearing hotheads or that any of the above is isolated and concentrated to the tape tabs. Concentrated heat applied to the tab can make the adhesive tacky.
What products can be used in the hair?
We would always suggest that clients are working with the Arcos wetline. It is formulated specifically for second hair (hair not attached and getting nutrients from the root) .
However some clients prefer to use their own products and that is not an issue as long as said products do not contain alcohol, oil or ethanol. Heavy conditioners are not to be applied at the scalp or tape tabs but rather from mid shaft to end.
Can roots be retouched while the extensions are in the hair?
Yes roots can be retouched again keeping in mind to stay away from the tape tabs and not to work with peroxide that is greater than 40 volume. Roots should always be done 24 to 48 hours prior to application and than in between extension service when there is ample growth to keep the color off of the tab.

How do I remove them?
Apply solvent to new hair growth and allow it to run down the hair shaft in between the tape tabs. Let it set for a moment and than separate the tabs. Do not rub the adhesive strip, a good tip is to take a styro mannequin head and place the strips on tpins in the place they were taken from the clients head. This will guarantee an easy and accurate reapplication placing the extension back in it’s original spot and keeping your haircut.
Can I reuse them?
Yes, the suggested re-use is up to 3 times. After that you may create bulk at the attachment area and new hair purchase is necessary.
How much do they cost?
Refer to current price sheet. Our pricing is based on volume discounts. The more you buy the better your price is.
Price is according to length and color.
Custom 22-24 extensions are available but you must call to get a personalized quote.
How many come in a pack?
There are 40 strands in each regular pack and that makes 20 complete extensions.
Mini Packs and Fantasy colors have 12 in a pack making 6 complete extensions.
How many packs does it take to do a full head?
We suggest it will take 1 to 2 packs depending on your customers existing hair density and what you are trying to create. Matching thick, dense hair will take more hair to create length (2packs), Creating length takes about 2 packs if your customer has average to thick hair. Fine hair can add length with one pack. If you are creating length in blunt haircuts texturizing the ends will help in blending the extensions and existing hair. Creating volume is depending on how much thickness they are trying to add however typically volume is achieved in under a pack if you are not creating length. Keep in mind number of packs may also vary based upon how many colors are in your clients existing hair that you are trying to match. This should be considered & estimated for in the initial consultation.
How many tape tabs come in a pack?
60 which will retape a pack and a half of hair.
